The concept emerged from a structured research process: cataloguing real eVTOL programmes, identifying design vocabulary gaps, and producing concepts that explored those gaps.

Lifter is one of more than 50 aircraft concepts I produced for ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) between 2018 and 2023. The brief came from research into new entrants in aviation — emerging eVTOL platforms, UAV manufacturers, regional air mobility startups — and the concepts served as branding and event material for ICAO communications.
The Lifter concept was selected for the 2022 ICAO Innovation Fair, featured both as cinematic renders and as an animated asset integrated into a full Unreal Engine virtual experience that visitors could explore in real-time.
Modelled in Rhinoceros with conventional NURBS surfacing for the engineering-grade fuselage and rotor housings. Animation and final integration in Unreal Engine. The full body of work — 50+ aircraft over four years — sits in the broader ICAO portfolio.
