About the project

A character. A scenario.

Busy Chill started with a character and a scenario. Eric, a millionaire businessman, lives in an overpopulated city with a packed agenda. He buys an autonomous SUV — a Lincoln Navigator with a self-driving stack. Over the first weeks of ownership he stops going to the office because the car can take him directly to where business is happening, hosting in-person or video meetings on the way.

The interior had to support that scenario. Front passenger swivels to face rear seats, dashboard transforms into a navigation surface, a curved augmented-reality display deploys from the roof for video conferencing. The materials sit between premium-Lincoln (American luxury) and tech-forward (Polestar-adjacent restraint).

Group project with Alberto Mario Spina, Dwij Pandya, and Javier García Felipe at the Politecnico di Milano TAD master's programme. Exterior 3D model by David Parke. Interior surface design, packaging, and visualisation handled jointly by the team.

Process · Scenario-led design

Design through narrative.

Polimi TAD encouraged scenario-based methods: build a believable user, give them a real life, design from there.
