About the project

Skip the traffic.

Randvu is a private people-mover concept designed for Charles Bombardier’s Imaginactive think-tank. Instead of adding more vehicles to congested streets, it borrows infrastructure the city already has — railway and subway tracks — and runs small, autonomous pods along them.

“The Randvu is a private people mover concept which would allow business people to use railroads and subway tracks to move within and around the city. It is designed to reduce the time it takes to travel around the city and avoid traffic.”

The body reads as a single soft-cornered volume wrapped in a graphic black, white and red livery, with a wraparound glazed cabin and a luminous C-signature headlamp. A detachable upper module hints at a multimodal future — part of the pod splits away and lifts off on rotors.

IDMR handled the concept exterior and the cinematic imagery.
